About Us
Tabla Talim Sanstha Inc (TTS Austin) is a 501c3 approved non profit organization registered in the state of Texas and is located in the city of Austin.
The organization executes on its mission of preserving Indian classical music by conducting regular coaching sessions offered at nominal cost, by organizing workshops by eminent musicians and through regular concerts where the enrolled students showcase their talents.
TTS Austin is also a PayPal confirmed charity and a participant of the PayPal Giving Fund.
Table Recital at Auditorium, Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin
This recital is for tabla enthusiasts and students of all levels. Performance features include theme tunes from Mission Impossible and James Bond. It also includes traditional tabla taals and kayadas.

Timings: 5:30 pm onwards
Fees: $35 + 3% convenience charges
Session type: This is an yearly event showcasing tabla talent.

The organization held its annual recital for 2017 which was choreographed by Founder/Director Pandit Munja Mehta.

About the teacher
Lessons are provided by Rahul Nair, a disciple of Pandit Munjal Mehta. Rahul is a passionate tabla player/enthusiast and donates his time, sharing what he learnt from his Guru, with students in class. He is a Sangeet Visharad in Tabla and has held a Guiness World Record in Music. In his professional life, Rahul works for PayPal as a Business Architect.
